GENERIC EXPLORATIONS 06 - TOOLING
This learning environment has partly been developed within the workshop Approaches to using technology to promote active learning (moderated by Simon Walker and Milan Antonijevic, University of Greenwich, TEMPUS project).
This elective course is based on Benjamin Aranda and Christopher Lasch's book Tooling, published by Princeton Architectural Press, NY, in 2006. The book covers seven concepts that could be used in the process of generation of architectural form. From the seven concepts covered in this book we have choosen the following four: Cracking, Packing, Flocking and Blending.
