Chose one character from the Secret Diary of Adrian Mole and try to imagine how they might look and what their character is like based on what you read about them. Describe the appearance and personality of the character supporting your essay with examples from the book. When describing character, try to use the words form the vocabulary practice 2.4

The essay should include the following:

• The character’s name, age, brief physical description, and role in the story
• Info about the character’s behavior (what he/she says, does, thinks, and acts) and how he/she develops in the piece
• Include, where relevant , others reactions to the character (that may differ from what the character is really like)
• The character’s personality traits (the most important part of the assignment!)
• Proof to support your opinions/claims of the character – the proof comes from the book – you may pull out exact quotations, or simply recap events
